Forging Nasdaq Entrepreneurship Center partnership to teach entrepreneurship to girls

The Education group, WVPEC and Vantage Ventures have formed a partnership with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center to research and develop programs that teach entrepreneurship to girls. Through this partnership, the Center would work with these groups to lead a rigorous human centered design process to answer questions we have, including how entrepreneurship education can help 7 to 8-year-old girls develop a stronger sense of self, and whether girls learn, dream, act differently after an entrepreneurial experience. 

Information gathered from this design process will lead to innovative solutions created with girls’ real needs in mind.

The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center has also recently submitted an application for a $1.4 million grant to support these efforts. Stay tuned!
