Support working women through COVID-19

Last year, Dress for Success River Cities was one of WVWMF’s first partners to host ‘Ready for Work’ clothing drives that collected in-demand professional items to support women entering or re-entering the workforce. Volunteers even created a toolkit to help statewide groups set up their own drives.

And yet, while COVID-19 has prevented interested groups from holding their own Ready for Work drives, there’s more we can do to support working women. DFSRC continues to support women remotely by helping with interview and employment suiting, offering virtual workshops and shipping clothes and shoes to those in need. DFSRC is accepting donations by appointment with special measures in place to minimize risk.
